Drink Spirits And Look For Spirits At 60 Pine Street’s Haunted Cocktail Soiree

It’s spooky season, which means you don’t have to indulge too heavily at happy hour in order to start seeing things in the night. An immersive cocktail and haunting experience called House of Spirits is coming to Lower Manhattan’s 60 Pine Street. The “haunted cocktail soiree” will mix the supernatural with magic and themed cocktails, including secret ceremonies and the chance to commune with spirits on a giant Ouija board, plus music and other surprises.

Guests can freely roam the haunted mansion and interact with the haunting tale of Molly and Francisco Vega, a young couple who lost a baby during childbirth. While Francisco focuses his grief into disturbing paintings, Molly is led into a much darker place. The story is loosely based on the life and artwork of Spanish painter Francisco Goya. The event is held inside the Down Town Association, a landmarked private club building whose interior decor could easily stand in for a haunted mansion on a normal day.

House of Spirits opens October 8 and runs through October 31, with two-hour shows on Thursdays and Fridays: at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., Saturdays at 4 p.m., 6.45 p.m. and 9.30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m., 5.45 p.m. 8.30 p.m. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and alcohol-free options will be available, too.

Tickets start at $78 and include four miniature cocktails. Get your tickets here
